VOVO Digital Web Design Policy
At VOVO Digital, we strive to provide exceptional web design services that meet our clients’ needs and expectations. Our policy ensures transparency, professionalism, and a seamless process from start to finish. Please review the following terms and conditions to understand our approach and responsibilities when working together.
1. Project Scope and Agreement
- Before starting any project, a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, and timelines will be provided.
- Any changes or additions to the original scope may result in additional costs or extended deadlines.
- The project will only commence once the client has signed the proposal or approved it in writing.
2. Design Process
- Since we build websites using WordPress, we no longer provide multiple design mockups. Instead, the website will be designed directly on the WordPress platform, allowing clients to see a live preview of their website as it progresses.
- Clients will have opportunities to review the website during specific milestones and request revisions within the agreed scope.
- Significant modifications beyond the approved scope will be treated as new requests and may incur additional fees.
- Final design approval is required before the website launch.
3. Content Responsibility
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete content (text, images, logos, etc.) before the project begins.
- If content is not provided within the agreed timeline, it may delay the project’s completion.
- VOVO Digital can assist with content creation for an additional fee.
4. Development and Testing
- All websites will be tested for functionality and compatibility with modern browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari).
- Mobile responsiveness is included in all designs unless otherwise specified.
- Any additional testing or adjustments for outdated browsers or niche devices may result in extra fees.
5. Payments and Fees
- A 50% deposit is required upfront to initiate the project. The remaining balance is due upon project completion or before the final website launch.
- Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other approved payment methods.
- Any delays in payment may result in a pause or cancellation of the project.
6. Ownership and Intellectual Property
- Once full payment is received, ownership of the website design and files will be transferred to the client.
- VOVO Digital retains the right to showcase the completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Stock images, plugins, and licensed software used in the project remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their licensing terms.
7. Website Launch and Handover
- Once the website is completed and approved, it will be launched on the client’s hosting platform.
- VOVO Digital can provide hosting and maintenance services at an additional cost.
- The client will receive a handover guide, including basic instructions for managing the website.
8. Post-Launch Support
- A 14-day support period is included after the website launch to address any bugs or technical issues.
- Any changes, updates, or additional features requested after this period will be billed at our hourly rate or as per the service agreement.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Refunds for services already rendered will not be provided.
- VOVO Digital is not responsible for any damages, losses, or interruptions caused by third-party software, hosting providers, or unforeseen technical issues.
- While we ensure the website is secure at launch, the client is responsible for ongoing security, maintenance, and updates unless a maintenance plan is purchased.
11. Communication
- All communications regarding the project will be conducted via email, project management tools, or scheduled calls.
- Timely feedback and approvals are required to ensure the project stays on track.
